Joining Normannis

Normannis is one of the fastest expanding societies in the UK- we have trebled our numbers across the last three years and opened up new cell groups across England, Wales, Scotland, France and now even America. We have around 300 regular full-time members across some 25 active cell groups and take part in a range of exciting events throughout the UK. If you would like to get in touch and be a part of it, we’d love to hear from you.

What to expect

Normannis tries to represent history in an exciting, engaging and most of all accurate manner. New members will be pointed at their local branch of the society who will hold regular training sessions, social meet-ups and craft workshops. Don’t worry if you have no experience of re-enactment and living history before you join- we will explain and train you for whatever it is you want to do, and when it comes time to buy your equipment we have a range of in-house craftsmen who will provide your gear at cost. In Normannis we operate as one big community, and we do our utmost to help each other out and make the hobby easy to access and enjoyable to be part of.

Sounds great, sign me up!

The first step is emailing us here, giving us your nearest town/city and we’ll tell you what your local cell group is and put you in touch. Your local group head will be your point of contact, tell you when training events are running and explain anything you need to know.
